Verantrix is operated by Intellicy.

These Terms govern your use of the Verantrix preparation platform and its associated services. “We”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of Verantrix. “You” refers to the person using the service.

Verantrix provides GAMSAT preparation activities, feedback, coaching and progress information.

Please read these Terms before registering. By accepting them during registration, you agree to follow them when using Verantrix.

If you do not agree, do not create an account. You may still read publicly available website content.

You must have legal capacity to agree to these Terms. If a parent or guardian’s consent is required, obtain that consent before registering.

Verantrix is currently offered as a free beta. Anyone may register directly and receive full access to the features and preparation content available during beta.

Registration does not create a payment obligation or authorise future charges.

Packages and prices labelled as planned launch offers describe possible future paid services. They do not restrict your current beta access or represent a purchase.

Free beta access is not a promise of permanent free access. Features, content and access arrangements may change as we develop the service.

During beta, we may need to reset or replace databases, migrate systems, remove development data, rebuild parts of the platform or discontinue existing accounts.

These changes may result in the deletion of your account, essays, answers, feedback, progress records and other stored work. We cannot promise that beta accounts or their contents will transfer to a replacement system or paid service.

Keep your own copies of important original work.

Where reasonably practicable, we will give advance notice of a planned reset or account closure so you can save your work. Urgent technical, security or legal circumstances may require action without advance notice.

These arrangements do not exclude our obligations under applicable law. Personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may end the free beta and introduce paid access.

Before charging for a service, we will explain its price, inclusions and applicable terms. You will not automatically become a paying customer.

We may close beta accounts and require users to register again when we launch a replacement platform or paid service. Existing accounts, preparation history and saved content may not carry over.

You may choose whether to register again or purchase paid access. Any purchase requires your separate agreement.

Provide accurate registration details and keep your contact email current.

Your account is for your personal preparation. Keep your password secure and do not share your credentials.

Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for your own use of the account, but you are not automatically responsible for unauthorised activity caused by a failure of our systems.

You may use Verantrix for your personal study and preparation.

You must not:

• Use the service unlawfully or to harass, threaten or harm another person.
• Access another person’s account or information without permission.
• Interfere with the platform, introduce malicious software or bypass security controls.
• Use automated tools to extract substantial amounts of content without permission.
• Publish, resell or commercially exploit our preparation materials without permission.
• Use Verantrix to obtain unauthorised assistance during an examination or assessment.
• Upload material you do not have permission to use.

Constructive criticism, ordinary study use and responsible reporting of problems are welcome.

Verantrix is a preparation aid. You remain responsible for your study decisions, examination registration and applications.

Practice results, essay feedback and progress information are not official GAMSAT results. We do not guarantee a particular score, improvement, interview invitation or admission outcome.

Verantrix is independent of the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER). It is not affiliated with or endorsed by ACER.

Check official examination rules, dates, registration requirements and admissions requirements directly with ACER and the relevant institutions.

Some features use artificial intelligence to provide feedback or coaching.

AI-generated feedback may contain errors or misunderstand your work. Consider it alongside the preparation material and your own judgement.

AI-generated comments are study guidance, not official examiner decisions. You may question feedback or report concerns through the contact page at https://www.verantrix.com/contact/.

Nothing in this section removes our responsibility to provide the service with the care required by applicable law.

You retain any intellectual property rights you hold in the original essays, explanations, messages and other material you submit.

You give us permission to store, reproduce and process your submissions as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain your preparation history, investigate problems and respond to support requests.

This permission does not transfer ownership to us. It does not, by itself, authorise publication of your work, its use in advertising or its use to train general-purpose AI models.

Our Privacy Policy addresses the handling of personal information and submissions. These Terms do not replace that policy.

Do not upload another person’s confidential information, unnecessary sensitive information or protected examination material you are not entitled to submit.

Unless otherwise identified, Verantrix’s software, branding and preparation materials are owned by us or used with permission.

While you have access, you may use these materials for personal preparation. You may use any download or printing functions we expressly provide for that purpose.

You must not sell, redistribute or publish our materials, remove ownership notices, or use them to build a competing content collection without permission.

Nothing in this section restricts uses permitted by applicable law.

Please explain what happened and what you expected. Do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.

We may use suggestions to improve Verantrix without being required to implement them or compensate you. This does not authorise us to publish your identity, private correspondence or study work as a testimonial.

We may send communications necessary to operate your account, respond to you or explain important service changes.

Accepting these Terms does not, by itself, subscribe you to optional marketing communications.

We may update features, correct content, perform maintenance and address technical problems.

We will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption. Beta resets, account removal and transition arrangements are explained in sections 4 and 5.

If something does not work as described, contact us so we can investigate.

We may suspend or close an account where reasonably necessary to address:

• A material breach of these Terms.
• Unlawful activity or a genuine security threat.
• Misuse that significantly disrupts the service or other users.
• A legal requirement.

Where appropriate, we will explain the concern and provide an opportunity to resolve it before closing the account.

We may act immediately where reasonably necessary to protect the service or others, prevent harm or comply with the law. Where safe and lawful, we will explain the action afterwards.

We may also close accounts as part of the beta resets, system changes, service discontinuation or transition to paid access described in these Terms.

You may contact us to question a suspension or closure.

You may stop using Verantrix at any time.

Account closure does not necessarily mean immediate deletion of every associated record. Retention and deletion are governed by our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Our description of beta access does not remove those rights.

You remain responsible for your examination, application and study decisions. That does not remove any responsibility we have under applicable law for our service or representations.

These Terms do not impose a blanket exclusion of liability where the law makes us responsible for loss or damage.

Describe the issue and the outcome you are seeking. We will consider the matter and respond.

You do not have to complete this process before exercising a legal right or contacting a regulator, tribunal or court.

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the service or applicable requirements.

We will identify the updated version and give reasonable advance notice of changes that materially affect your rights or access, unless an urgent legal or security reason requires an earlier change.

Where fresh agreement is required, we will ask for it. Changes will not retrospectively authorise charges or remove rights relating to earlier events.

If you do not agree with a material change, you may stop using the service without purchasing anything.
