Support when a question does not click
It starts from what you did, not from a blank box. The point is to get you one step further, not to hand over the answer.
It asks before it explains
You say where you got to. The coach responds to that, with a question or a hint aimed at the step you are stuck on, and keeps the full explanation back until it would actually help.
Reviewed Verantrix content and the coach’s own reading of your attempt are shown as different things, because they carry different weight. The approved explanation is the one that was written and checked by a person.
Where the evidence is thin, it says so. Two questions are not a pattern, and a coach that announces one from two questions is guessing in a confident voice.
What it is, plainly
It is a study aid. It can be wrong, and you should treat it the way you would treat a confident study partner rather than a marker.
It does not decide correct answers. Answers and the reasoning behind them are written and reviewed by people before they reach you, and nothing the coach says replaces them.
If it gets something wrong, tell us. During the beta that is the most useful thing you can send us.
It is also deliberately absent from simulated exams, because an exam you can ask for help in measures something else.
